Alurevia Editorial Standards & Research Policy

Published September 12, 2026 · Alurevia Editorial Team

Alurevia publishes supplement education to help readers understand labels, ingredients, serving sizes and established nutritional roles without turning supplement marketing into medical advice.

Who writes and reviews our content

Educational content is published under the Alurevia Editorial Team. Articles are reviewed before publication for factual consistency with the product label, conservative supplement language and the sources cited in the article.

How we choose sources

For core magnesium facts, safety references and intake guidance, we prioritise authoritative primary or institutional sources. These include the National Institutes of Health Office of Dietary Supplements Magnesium Fact Sheet for Health Professionals and, where appropriate, peer-reviewed research.

We distinguish between established nutritional roles of magnesium and form-specific claims that may have weaker or more limited evidence.

How we handle health claims

Alurevia does not present dietary supplements as treatments for disease. We avoid claims that a supplement diagnoses, treats, cures or prevents a medical condition. Where a claim relates to a normal structure or function of the body, it is written conservatively and in context.

How we discuss Alurevia Magnesium Complex

We publish the product facts directly: 500mg elemental magnesium per capsule, 90 capsules per bottle, one capsule per day, and eight named magnesium sources. Magnesium oxide is listed first on the Supplement Facts panel and is the primary magnesium source. We do not describe the product as glycinate-dominant.

Safety and dosage information

When discussing supplemental intake, we disclose that the Food and Nutrition Board sets a tolerable upper intake level of 350mg per day for magnesium from supplements for adults, separate from magnesium naturally present in food. Alurevia Magnesium Complex provides 500mg elemental magnesium per capsule, which is above that supplemental upper limit.

Readers should seek healthcare-professional guidance when individual circumstances, prescription medicines, pregnancy, nursing, kidney disease or other medical considerations are relevant.

Article freshness

We review and update content when product information changes, when an important source changes, or when an article needs correction or clarification. Articles may display a reviewed or updated date, and Shopify records the underlying content update date.

Corrections

If a factual error is identified, we aim to correct the underlying page rather than leave conflicting information live. Questions or correction requests can be submitted through our Contact page.

Commercial transparency

Alurevia sells the Magnesium Complex discussed in some of our educational content. Where the product is relevant to an article, we identify it clearly and link to the product page. Educational content should still explain limitations, safety considerations and formulation details even where those details are less commercially flattering.
